We worked with Double Five Jiu Jitsu Carlsbad to enhance their online presence through a custom website and engaging content. Our focus was on creating a user-friendly site that showcases their training programs, instructors, and community, helping them attract new students while reflecting their brand’s values.
One of the key challenges we faced while creating content for Double Five Jiu Jitsu Carlsbad was capturing the intricate, smaller movements that are essential to the sport but often get lost from a third-person perspective. Jiu Jitsu is all about the fine details—like grips, positioning, and subtle shifts—that define the flow of a match. These crucial elements can be hard to showcase in photos and videos, especially when viewed from a distance. The challenge was finding ways to highlight these key moments in the midst of complex movements, ensuring that the essence of the sport was captured without missing these small but vital actions.
To overcome the challenge of capturing the subtle details of Jiu Jitsu movements, we took the time to study the sport ourselves. By learning the fundamentals of Jiu Jitsu—understanding the key grips, positions, and transitions—we were able to anticipate critical moments during training and matches. This knowledge allowed us to capture those often-overlooked actions, like subtle shifts in grip or body positioning, that are essential to the flow of the sport. Through this deeper understanding, we were able to create content that accurately reflected the complexity and strategy of Jiu Jitsu, ensuring every key moment was captured with precision.
